Long waiting times, no reservation possible, last autumn I was asked to wait a quarter of an hour in front of the door, after this time there was still no space to be found. After a while (50 min.) I went with my guests - a messed up birthday !! simply a shame for a shop with such an allegedly excellent reputation
Particularly good cuisine, excellent wines and drinks, very nice staff, easy to reach
A very good Wiener Schnitzel, great & friendly service! We had to wait a long time for the main course, but the food was worth it. I would love to come back!
Always my pleasure!
Great food and the service staff 1A. I would recommend it to everybody!
As always nice and good food. Very well organized with the slots.
I've wanted to go to Vienna for a long time, but so far I've always had bad luck to get a free table. Since reservations are now possible due to Corona, I was finally able to get a place. For dinner I had the fried salmon on a fine mushroom risotto and a Pinkus beer. The salmon was very tender, the skin was fried crispy, the risotto was nice and sappy, simply excellent! My companion had the deer on mushrooms and potatoes that I could try and which was also delicious. The Vienna is authentic, the service very friendly and attentive. Overall we were very satisfied and I will definitely be back.
An address for years. The Wiener Schnitzel has worn off a bit. But the fish dishes are still perfect. In summer, the yellow muscatel is an excellent combination.
I was really looking forward to the schnitzel and was very disappointed. Too expensive and service was also rather moderate. Can't keep up with Vienna.
Actually a cozy and good restaurant, which unfortunately, in our opinion, has continuously lost quality in recent years. Finally: unfriendly and "insulted" service and poor communication with guests - Corona is a big burden for all restaurants, but not an excuse
Good Wiener Schnitzel, but above all great curd cheese dumplings
Thanks for an extremely delicious kitchen, for super friendly people behind and in front of the counter. Successful concept. And I said this was really delicious!
We have known Vienna for a long time, were there again at the weekend and this time it was really a shame that we left so much money there in such a short time. The service was a disaster. When the reservation was made, it was not communicated that this table can only be booked for 2 hours. 5 minutes before the end of these 2 hours we were then asked for the last order after we had been completely ignored beforehand. Very, very bad, because the restaurant is otherwise really a good address. It may be due to Corona time, but you don't have to be so ignorant and rude. The food was excellent, you can't deny that.
Very very good classic cuisine! Perfectly attuned, small card that changes regularly and top attentive service! :)
Small restaurant with lots of charm. You could also sit in the conservatory with heating. The restaurant opens at 5:30 pm, but the kitchen will not open until 1 p.m. 19:00. Since you can not book a table, it is just to be there well in advance, as there is rift on the seats. Good staff, good serving, and really delicious food. The contact with the other guests is good and nice, and the atmosphere is top notch. You sit close, yet it means nothing. Have been recommended this restaurant through Scandlines and it is definitely worth a visit 👍😃
Great food, great wine and very friendly service. We had three courses and for the quality of the food you can't really fault the price of 28 euros. It's cozy and cozy - it just has something. The other guests were also really nice. If you are looking for something small and special for a special evening, you should definitely go to Vienna! Thank you for the lovely evening!
Good food, lots of meat and fish. No reservation possible, so you should be there early at the weekend. The kitchen opens at 7 p.m., but the restaurant opens earlier.
access is denied
Busy, for a reason, yum
Absolute insider tip in Hamburg! Belongs for me to the top 3 kitchens in the city. The price performance ratio is absolutely great for the excellent food. The staff is also very friendly! Just bring some time or be there early because you can not reserve. It is worth it!
Friendly staff, cozy location, unbelievably good food. Feels like being at someone's home, someone that cooks amazingly well. Schnitzel not to miss, but quite frankly everything on the menu looks special.
Food: top. Service: too lame and everything lasts forever.
International place with delicious austrian food. No real vegan options but great food and service. No reservations so expect a line if arriving late
Love it
Simply amazing, by far the best restaurant in Eimsbüttel. Experienced chefs, friendly staff and the ambiance is cozy, warm and relaxed. Make sure to get there right when it opens, no reservations and very popular with the local crowd every day of the week. Must try!
Amazing food and even better service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻favourite place in Hamburg and a must go!
Very cozy, delicious Grüner Veltliner white wine, excellent schnitzel and especially attentive service!
Great atmosphere! Good food. A bit expensive
Great and cozy atmosphere, creative food and a good wine selection. The waiters are unfortunately very distracted by the football game on television and also on the note that jmd of us has birthday and if there was any special, was only denied and not even congratulated. Therefore only 4 stars
Probably one of the best 10 restaurants in Hamburg. Very small cosy Elsass-style french bistro with daily changing menu. Be sure to come early, they start serving at 7pm and no reservations, if you want to be in the first round, be there before 6pm.
Best food I’ve had in Hamburg. The waiters are exceptionally friendly! The long hours make it a perfect place for good late night food. Lives to the hype!
Top Bistrot in Hamburg
Fantastic service, charming waiters, great atmosphere and such tasty food....it's a must if you are ever in Hamburg!
Too pricey but the food is good. Good clientele, as well.
Amazing desserts as well as other dishes. A few rather unusual offers. Nice selection of wines. Waiter could have been a bit more tactful.
Amazing food and atmosphere
Food was overpriced, average. Waiters had no idea how to deal with guests. I would say the best psuedo-fine dine experience in town!! Really good at handing plates of food over other guests heads!!!
Insider tip! Don’t tell anybody;-)
Cozy atmosphere and popular place. Had to wait for a while before we could have a seat but it went fast as we arrived for a late dinner (20.30). Had schnitzel and beer, good taste but not something extraordinary. I would say you go there more for the atmosphere! Homely feeling. Nice staff. Nice clientele!
Warm service and delicious food. Well worth it if you manage to snag a table!
Okay/good food for long waiting times at the bar. Reservation possible inside the restaurant, bring patience!! 3-4 stars.
Great location with high quality food. No reservation possible so plan some waiting time while having a glass of wine on the bar. Only downside for me is the selection of open wines which is a bit limited.
Fantastic food. Individual service. Expect some waiting time to be seated in the evenings.
The food is excellent and the serving personal is very friendly. I recommend it!
Walk Ins only. Worth the wait. Amazing food and friendly service!
Schnitzel is good. Sauces are good. Simple and good. I will be back.
Highly recommendable if you enjoy good food and wine!! Don't hesitate, just be on time. Best gastronomical experience in HH so far!! Thxs to Sven!
Food (not necessarily Austrian only) is made with love. Great selection of wines and fantastic outdoor seating. No reservations but very welcoming staff (waiting time is often "1-2 drinks").
Absolutely fantastic place. Went there two nights and will go back any time I am in Hamburg. Great food, amazingly friendly staff and owner.. a real neighbourhood secret. Can line up only but waiting itself is so sociable. Thank you Sven and Fritz!
From the moment we came in the service was very poor. First of all we were seated at a table where the only way to get in and out of the seat was to delicately pull the table fully out ourselves and not knock the candle off the table onto the people beside us who we were practically banging our elbows together with. This was compounded by the fact that when new guests arrived beside us the waitress jammed their table into me when pulling their table out! We were waiting 45 min before we finally got our drinks and we eventually had to flag down the waiter to even get this far. When the food finally arrived it was nice but definitely nothing special and not worth suffering through the service, the seating nor the fairly steep pricing. I had a young pork dish with mash and rhubarb which was quite tasty but slightly underwhelming. My partner had the mushroom ravioli which I also tasted and we both felt lacked flavour and were disappointed with. Overall I can only assume the reputation this place has is built around customers who like to lounge in there for hours so the poor service doesn't actually matter, and the air of pretention which appeals to some. Although the food was not bad it isn't worth the trip there.
